How to use the Residential Electrical Load and Service Size Calculator
Choose the NEC 2023 optional-method screening workflow or general residential planning. Keep calculated demand separate from connected load, enter the larger applicable heating or cooling contribution, and add EV charging using the factor accepted for the project. Calculation method and validation
